Scholarships

Each year, scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and achievements in academics, leadership, service, and extracurricular involvement.

Attending RLC has taught me about unique cultures from all over the globe, and my worldview has been broadened through connections with new friends. Experiences unique to Rosseau, like the annual outtrips, have allowed me to share my love for the outdoors while bonding with members of the RLC community.

2018/19 Muskoka Scholarship recipient

Merit Based Scholarships

Rosseau Lake College scholarships are awarded to students based on merit and achievement in Grades 7-12. They are awarded to well-rounded individuals and those who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, service, and extracurricular involvement.

Returning Students

Scholarships are awarded in June each year to returning students who are nominated by the Rosseau Lake College Financial Aid Committee. Scholarships are distributed as broadly as possible to the most deserving students.

How to Apply

There is no application process for returning students. Merit scholarship recipients are nominated by the Financial Aid Committee.

New Students

Applicants who are involved in their school community, are ready for the challenge of our academic program, know the value of effort, and realize the importance of giving back, will be considered for Merit Scholarships. Scholarships are distributed as broadly as possible to the most deserving students.

How to Apply

In addition to completing the requirements of the Rosseau Lake College Application process and submitting the application fee, prospective students must write and submit a letter indicating why they feel Rosseau Lake College is a good fit for them, what they would like to accomplish at Rosseau Lake College, and why they should be considered for a scholarship.
