Co-Curricular
Program

Rosseau Lake College’s balanced, supportive, and challenging co-curricular program provides opportunity for students to develop self-confidence, self-awareness, and life skills that will serve them well beyond their years in high school.

At Rosseau Lake College, we believe in nurturingwell-rounded individuals, and our co-curricular programs play a pivotal role inachieving this goal. Our diverse range of activities offers studentsopportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lastingfriendships outside the classroom.

Arts
At Rosseau Lake College we aim to infuse our community with the magic that cultivating a love of the arts can bring. We offer opportunities and experiences in music, visual arts, drama, dance and media arts. We celebrate how participating in the creation and sharing of the arts brings us together as a community and allows us to connect to and express ourselves. Our arts programming allows each unique student to explore their own talents and gives a variety of opportunities to be a part of classes, clubs, performances and arts events.

Athletics
The priority of our Athletics program is to teach the value of active living, healthy competition, and the empowering nature of sportsmanship. Athletics are compulsory for all students and run all year, but are segmented into three terms: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Many students opt for varsity sports, and sports for the less competitive are also available. RLC competes as part of the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA).

Leadership and Service
We believe in empowering students to become compassionate leaders and engaged citizens. Through leadership training, volunteer opportunities, and service-learning projects, students learn the importance of giving back to their communities and making a positive difference in the world.

Global Citizenship
In an increasingly interconnected world, global citizenship is more important than ever. Through international exchanges, cultural immersion experiences, and global awareness initiatives, students develop a broader perspective and a deeper understanding of global issues and cultures.

At Rosseau Lake College, our co-curricular programs complement and enrich the academic curriculum, providing students with valuable experiences that prepare them for success in college, career, and life. Whether inside or outside the classroom, we strive to inspire excellence, foster creativity, and nurture the whole student.
