Day Students

Day students make up half of our student population. They arrive each day from the surrounding towns of Huntsville, Bracebridge, Parry Sound, Gravenhurst, and Port Carling.

Rosseau Lake College offers Grade 7 through 12 to approximately 140 students each year. About half are a diverse group of boarding students from around the world, while the rest are day students who arrive each day from the surrounding towns of Huntsville, Bracebridge, Parry Sound, Gravenhurst, and Port Carling. Many of our day students are summer cottagers who joined RLC so they could enjoy a Muskoka lifestyle year round.

How to apply

To begin the application process click on the online application. You will be guided to create a parent portal where you will find the forms and steps necessary to begin your application.

A recent photo (passport or portrait photo, JPEG file)
A copy of passport, birth certificate, or status card if the student is a member of a First Nation, Métis, or Inuit (PDF file)
Student self-introduction with one of two options:
-A personal essay written by the student independently (PDF file), or
-A video essay.
Report cards of the most recent two school years (PDF file).
RLC Admissions Assessment (a diagnostic tool to support student success)
An admission interview with the student and parents will be scheduled after all the above supporting documents are submitted.
A decision of acceptance by the school.

Tuition Fees 2024-25

Full Year - $25,600
Enrollment Fee - $2,000

All fees are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
Fees are not subject to the Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax (H.S.T.).

Sibling Discount

Discounts are available for additional children enrolled
Discount of 10% for the second child
Discount of 15% for the third child
Discount of 20% for the fourth and subsequent child

Additional Fees

Daily Transportation

Daily transportation to and from RLC is available for day students located in the following areas: Bracebridge, Huntsville, Parry Sound, and Port Carling. Monthly fee: $285.00

Uniform

The RLC Classroom Dress uniform can be purchased from the InSchoolwear website: inschoolwear.com The uniform fee is between $700 and $1,000 depending on the number of pieces ordered.

Personal Expenses

The annual tuition fee does not include incidental expenses such as optional extra-curricular activities, personal athletic equipment, travelling expenses, meals away from school, or instrument rentals. An additional $1,500 to $2,000 per year should be allocated for extras. Personal expenses are itemized on each student’s account which is billed monthly to parents/legal guardians.
